Perfectly shaped into oval reindeer heads, these treats are topped with pretzel antlers, candy eyes, and fruit drop noses (including Rudolph’s iconic red nose!). They’re quick to make, fun to decorate, and loved by kids and adults alike. Whether you’re hosting a Christmas party or just spreading holiday cheer, this no-bake dessert is as festive as it is delicious.
Ingredients
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
4 cups mini marshmallows (substitute with vegan marshmallows if needed)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter (or coconut oil for a dairy-free option)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
24 pretzel twists
24 red fruit gummy drops
48 candy eyes
Directions
- Grease a large baking sheet or line it with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Quickly fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Allow the mixture to cool slightly (so it’s not too sticky), then grease your hands lightly with cooking spray or butter. Scoop small portions and shape into ovals to resemble reindeer heads.
- While the treats are still slightly warm, press a pretzel half into each side of the head to form antlers.
- Using a small dab of melted marshmallow or icing as glue, attach two candy eyes and one fruit gummy drop for the nose on each treat.
- Let the decorated treats cool and set completely before serving.
Notes
- Arrange the treats on a large festive platter surrounded by Christmas ornaments or greenery for a party-ready display. Pair with hot cocoa or milk for a cozy holiday treat.
